Mr. S is a dedicated educator with a passion for guiding students. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Loyola University Chicago. Mr. S’s career spans various fields, including community relations in minor league baseball in Central California, Chicago’s Olympic & Paralympic bid committee, and sales in the bicycle parts industry.
In 2012, he co-founded a public transit advocacy organization in Detroit before transitioning to education in 2015. He started as a paraprofessional at Detroit Leadership Academy and later became an ELA teacher, Adviser, and Varsity Baseball coach. Mr. S spent the last four years building up the School at Marygrove, a K-12 in Detroit’s School District, in a similar role as he has now at BBA.
Residing in Detroit’s University District, he is deeply committed to his neighborhood and enjoys cycling, reading and cooking. Mr. S’s unwavering dedication and diverse experiences make him a valuable member of the Blooming Brains community.
