Let's Have Fun While Exploring!

This summer, give your child an adventure where they can enjoy various activities including hands-on building, art, music, dance, yoga and physical play.

  • Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (before & after care also available)
  • 3 and 5 days per week options available
  • Sign up for just specific weeks or the full summer

Every week, students will enjoy various theme-based activities, specifically designed to allow them to explore and study the theme of the week. We have engaged specialists to help us design and teach students at the highest levels. We will also incorporate academic skills in reading, writing, math and science so that students can continue to grow and develop in these areas. We emphasize the application of skills and the development of creativity through all of our activities. In addition, we seek to support socio-emotional development by incorporating leadership, mindfulness and reflection as a part of our daily routine. Students will also enjoy water play each week and will help to maintain our school garden.

Schedule

The Summer Academy runs Monday - Friday each week from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.  Before and after school care is also available.  We have 3, and 5 days per week options available and you can sign up for just specific weeks or the full academy.

Explore the world of insects, bugs, and butterflies

Week 2 | June 22-26

Animal Planet
Explore different parts of the globe and the animals that live there.
Family meet-up at the Detroit Zoo at 10 AM on June 27

Music and Rhythm
Move, groove and find your beat as we experience various types of music and sounds

Week 4 | July 6-10

Out of this World!
Explore various aspects of outer space and the galaxies around us

Week 5 | July 13-17

Camp BBA
Join us for a camping adventure with tents, hiking, nature scavenger hunts, camp songs and "campfires."

Week 6 | July 20-24

Culinary Creations
Our little top chefs learn about food and nutrition, while making tasty treats!

ABC Storybook Summer
Escape into the magic of books as we explore a different children's book every day!

Pack your bags and join us to explore a different destination and type of vacation every day.
